Funnily enough, this whole “album” thing has been taking up a lot of time, so it’s been a while since the last update.
We’re very pleased to be able to tell you all that not only did we make our first funding goal ($1200), but also our second goal ($1500) and even our third goal of $2000! We couldn’t have achieved this much without your support, so once again, a big thank you and lots of virtual hugs to those who pledged to support our campaign, spread the word, and made us cups of tea to get us through.
So what’s happening, and where to next?
Well, we’ve just returned from the UK where we spent three days in the studio with the wonderful Simon Dumpleton, recording the five tracks for the EP. That means we’ve got all the recording out of the way ahead of schedule (so we don’t need to wait until November to record extra tracks or tidy up the unfinished ones)! Final mixes are due July-August, and we plan to have the artwork finalised August-September, gearing up for release (after our exams!) in late November to early December. Our Pozible supporters can expect to hear from us directly in the next few months, as we finalise t-shirt designs, and begin to package up and send out your rewards.
There’s more album news coming soon, plus a big catch-up on our very sneaky mini-tour of the UK and Ireland, so keep a close eye on the Facebook page or this News blog over the next few weeks!
