Elly is a singer-songwriter from the Blue Mountains and a long time folky. She plays violin and guitar, has a knack for vocal harmonies, and can occasionally be persuaded into doing handstands.
Influences to her music include Karine Polwart, Leonard Cohen, The Maes, Cloudstreet, the Finn brothers, Nancy Kerr and James Fagan and Dick Gaughan.
She has been featured at The Bucket Lounge and Live & Original at Mr Falcon’s. With Missy Jones she has been booked at Illawarra, Dorrigo and Cygnet Folk Festivals. They were also short-listed for the 2018 Folk Alliance Youth Awards.
Elly is in the process of recording her first solo album.
